Pastor Michael invited Jesus to come into his heart when he was nine years old in Columbus, Mississippi. He knew God was calling him to preach when he was thirteen years old. He preached his first sermon on Mother's Day 1971 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Columbus, Mississippi.
Pastor Michael was born October 15, 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee at Baptist Hospital.
Family: Wife Teresa (Terri) Hill Duff, Born December 2, 1957. Terri and I were married July 29, 1977. She is a registered nurse with a bachelor of science degree from the University of North Alabama. She is employed by Crockett Hospital in the Surgery department in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Terri & I have two children: Our son Chris and Daughter Brandi. We have three Grandchildren: Lauren, Haven, & Baileigh.
His first Sundy at the Immanuel Baptist Chuch was the first Sunday in August 2010.
